Why does my chat disappear?

Kipton doesn't keep a chat history. Your recent messages stay on screen while you use Kipton, then clear automatically: after 5 minutes without activity by default, or when you close or reload the page. Anything Kipton saved as a memory stays in your memories.

To change the timing, go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Clear chat after. Choose Don't keep, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
