Forgot your Lockbox password?

Use your recovery key:

1. Open your Lockbox and choose Forgot password? Use recovery key.
2. Enter your recovery key and choose a new password.
3. Choose Reset password and unlock.

If you lose both your Lockbox password and your recovery key, your Lockbox can't be opened by anyone, including us. That's what keeps it private.

While your Lockbox is open, you can make a new recovery key in Settings → Privacy & Data → Lockbox → Create new recovery key.

Lockbox items aren't included when you download your data, so keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
